The Winds are Changing Directions

This report was published at the end of a difficult year in which a few local officials adopted the view that the Arts & Science Council shouldn't receive public funding because it had given money to support the production of "Angels in America," a gay-themed play. Eventually the officials were voted out, and a new day of renewed public support dawned for the ASC.
