Carolina Thread Trail, a proposed hiking and biking network planned to connect existing greenways and state parks with recreational, educational, cultural and historical destinations across a 15-county area of North & South Carolina.

The Carolinas have a long and rich heritage in the crafting of textile products. That heritage and the community connectivity the trail will bring are the inspirations for the Carolina Thread Trail name and brand identity.
